The band has had shows like woah. Things have been decent, although I'm not sure our drummer is into playing with us anymore. He never really liked out music much, anyway.
We played at the Sad Cafe on Saturday night and we got a fairly decent recording out of it, if you take away all the random tempo changes and whatnot. Being the bassist, it's hard for me to ignore even subtle timing variations when trying to play with the drummer. Most drummers really fail to realize how vital it is that they be able to play on time, and how much easier it would be to learn to play to a metronome. I always assumed everybody who picked up an instrument would be trying to nail timing, but I was so dead wrong it isn't even funny. The drummers main job is to keep time, for godsake. What else are they even there for? Bastards.  ¶ 6:28 PM
