So, now that my finger is pretty much broken and I am unable to play anything, I am bored all the time. As such, I keep thinking of song ideas. Crazy song ideas. Crazy songs. Songs that probably wouldn't work in the band I'm in now. Stuff that I may use in some sort of side project. I think I want to do something with a sort of revolving instrumental line-up. Something off the wall. Something indie, emo, rock, and anything else, yet somehow kind of pop. After reviewing several of the songs I wrote I realize that they scream of this sappy pop crap. Not Matthew Sweet pop, either, but almost. A sort of sappy Ben Folds meets The Dismemberment Plan. Only nowhere near as good, trust me. Just what I think my attempt at that would be.
