So, Heartbreak City Revolution broke up a long long while ago (and it's possible I mentioned that already, seeing as I don't remember the last time I wrote here, but there it is again). I now play bass in Stevus and The Deceivers. We have a MySpace with show videos and some old-ass audio. Check it out, or don't, I care not.
It has been forever and ever, amen, since I've written here.
I'm working as a line-cook and I don't hate my job. I tend to enjoy it most times. There are still a billion other things I'd rather be doing but none of those will pay me as well. Not yet, anyway.
Someday, somehow, the band will eventually be seen as the unrecognized geniuses that we are, or at least Stevus and I will be. I've been trying forever and have played in so many failed bands that sometimes I want to just scream until my head explodes, but every new band gets a little easier to deal with. I was looking back on my old entries and remembering how depressed I was about all the band shit that was going on back then, and about how much I hated my job. Here I am two jobs and countless bands later and I'm feeling better...
Things still aren't where I want them to be (or even remotely close) but it's bothering me less than it used to.
